Colony Collapse Disorder

A new book is out that really goes into detail on the whole situation, and it points to the new class of insecticides, neonicotinoids, which includes IMIDACLOPRID ( IMD).
Imidacloprid has been researched and shown to disorient the bees, so they cannot find their way back to their hives. This whole group of insecticides has been banned in France and now Germany, and the bees have made a comeback in France.
According to the author, states in the USA that have not issued permits allowing IMIDACLOPRID (IMD) do not have colony collapse disorder reported. So now the USA needs to do the same, in order to save our own food supply, our beekeeping industry, and ourselves.
This fantastic book is "A Spring Without Bees" by Michael Schacker.
This is ground breaking work, and a wonderful breath of fresh air in this maze of research studies in all directions.
This book is now available on Amazon.com and at Borders.
